一、句首状语
写完一句话后，可以有意识地在这个句子前面加上一个副词来修饰整句话:
Interestingly / unfortunately / undoubtedly / obviously / Amazingly enough / similarly /likewise / without / just like / Apart from / In spite of / In addition (to) / Besides
比如：
In addition to the language skills， those volunteers are expected to be patient，helpful，open-minded with a loving heart.
在这句话中，句子的前半部分就加了一个状语来修饰整个句子，加上这么一个状语一方面会对你的字数扩充另一方面还提升了你的语言亮点。
Disappointed as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom， I found the teachers patient and considerate.尽管面对简陋的校园和设备不完善的教室，我感到很失望，但老师却很体贴
二、非限制性定语从句 :
引导非限制性定语从句的as，which，在扩充句子方面很好用。
它们的区别在于：
which引导的非限制性定语从句只能位于被修饰句子的后面
而as引导的非限制性定语从句则可以位于被修饰句子的前面，后面或者中间。
比如：
For another， these jobs， which are worth our enthusiasm and respect， also provide a chance to realize our value or fulfill our dreams.
另一方面，这些值得我们付出热情和尊重的工作，也为我们实现自己的价值和理想提供了机会。
As is vividly depicted in the photo， two men are heading forward to travel in the world， which successfully captures our eyes.
在这句话中就很好地体现了As和which的区别
再比如：
The second picture， as is analogous to the above， describes that the grown-up daughter is supporting her old mother by her arm now.
这句话中，as引导的非限制性定语从句放在了句子中间
三、插入语 :
写作文的时候有意识地去加一下插入语，可以让作文生动，丰满。
常用的插入语如下：
副词有frankly，naturally，strangely，obviously……
形容词有true，strange to say， most important of all……
介词短语有in fact，in addition， as a matter of fact
或者分词短语 frankly speaking，generally speaking
甚至句型都可以 I believe，as I see it， I am sure……
例子
Cultural exchange， frankly speaking， could promote the mutual understanding among nations.
坦白来讲，文化交流可以促进各个国家之间的互相理解。
